I would have thought since morroco is a predominantly muslim country, people wouldn't find it strange when it comes to niqaab. I'm currently in Singapore right now where there are many hijaabis around but people still stare at you like as though you can't see that they are staring lol. insha Allah you will get used to all that.. constantly make dua yes :) don't let them bring you down!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2524871513805313236.post-60160052905234382152010-01-15T01:23:00.172-08:002010-01-15T01:23:00.172-08:00Salaam dear sister

Even here niqab is something strange, only a few women wear it. Most of women who wear niqab are either street beggars or a few old grandmas... So the image of it here is not too sound either...
Be patient with your parents insha Allah.
Your comment has inspired me, as these last days ive felt a bit down while wearing my niqab (so many stares plus exhaustion). And wow i loved your blog, masha Allah!
Keep in touch with how it goes, its nice of us sisters to support each other especially during these times insha Allah :)Aida Spin2liuxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12186263571590204973noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2524871513805313236.post-61269302973696457102010-01-11T22:22:05.250-08:002010-01-11T22:22:05.250-08:00Jazak Allah khair for the tips sis! Whenever they see niqaabis on the street, the first impression is: taliban..(lol silly I know) So it's gonna be tough trying to change this perception. :SAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
